A picture of the Creampie, a very intelligent animal that can be seen everywhere around here, but their intelligence seems to be only used for pleasure. They are not shy and are not hindered by speciesism and they always reciprocate. Ah, the fun I had with them when I was young …

I should make more of these wild flowers, personally I do like them. And I also have a bunch of photo’s I made of places where buildings are erected or demolished for that matter. More work to be done.

I think it is important to sometimes just use the ornamental value of a frame. There is nothing wrong with a bunch of flowers to show your love, isn’t it? I used the flowers from the tree of knowledge from my the left panel of my Paradise and Hell artwork

Some people think it is a bit unusual for me to create work like this, but I do not think it is. First I love textures and as such I also tent to look at the stuf in /r/fractalporn on reddit. This would fit right in there. Besides that, I created this as a possible part of an ornament. In my ornaments I try to use opposites. Nature and the city fits right in there.
I wanted to show this during the ‘Roads to Europe‘ exhibition because I thought it would fit in there. Later we decided to use another image. Instead I decided to see this as the first in a new series using the same theme: dreams withering in a changing city, colorful flowers destroyed or floating in the wind, looking for more fertile grounds.
Made it especially for the ‘Foto-A(u)ktion’ Hotel Bogota – as many people did – in the hope that we could help a little, maybe even safe it. Ah well.
